When you paint a picture, you can choose the best paint to use. What would you use to paint an elephant? What would you paint with pink or purple?

Sometimes we are glad to have a friend to help us with things we are doing. A friend can help us to play a game or to make something. Friends can fix things, too, or help us when something is hard to do by ourselves.

We all know that the sun is round. What else is round like the sun? Can you see something round right now?

What does a little seed need to help it grow into a new plant? As well as water to drink and sunshine to warm it, the new little plant needs a space. It needs room to spread its roots, and grow shoots and leaves. How does a little seed find a place to grow?

Look at your hands. Your hands are good for doing lots of things. What can you do with your hands?

Some things need a push to make them move. Some other things move when they are pulled. Which things can be moved by pushing them? Which things are moved by a pull?

Lighthouses are tall buildings that are near the sea. Their job is to help keep ships safe. Every lighthouse has a big bright light that shines out over the sea. The light shows ships where there are dangerous rocks. Then ships can keep away from danger. They need to go where the water is deep.

What work would you like to do when you grow up? You could learn how to be a firefighter or a diver. You might like to be a vet or an acrobat. What else would you like to be?

Why do many animals live underground? What do you think underground homes are like? Animals use burrows, tunnels, dens and caves to keep away from their enemies and bad weather. Their babies keep safe from their enemies while they grow up.

Do you know which side is left and which side is right? Can you make an L shape with your left hand? Hold up your right hand and touch your right ear. These children are looking for hidden treasure. They have to turn left or right and count their steps. How many steps will they take to find some treasure?

Animals are all different shapes and sizes. Which one has enormous ears but tiny eyes? Which animal is the smallest? Which one has the longest tail? Do you know which animal is the biggest in the world?

Many things in the world are a different weight to each other. Some small things are heavy and some big things are light. Do you know how heavy you are? Who is lighter than you?
